About

A person signs off every result

Scorafy uses AI to mark open-ended answers against your own rubric, and keeps a qualified person in charge of what gets released.

Who builds Scorafy

Scorafy is a product of Cognitiv Pty Ltd, an Australian company (ACN 688 133 977, ABN 51 688 133 977). It was founded in 2026 by Adam Broons, a qualified secondary teacher and workplace trainer and assessor who builds software.

Customer data is held in the EU (Dublin) by default, with an Australian (Sydney) region available for organisations that need it.

Why results are release-gated

Marking open-ended answers well is slow, and asking a general chat tool for a grade is fast but unaccountable. Scorafy sits between the two: the AI reads each answer against your rubric, scores it and cites the evidence it relied on, and a person on your side reviews, overrides where they disagree, and releases the result.

Nothing reaches a respondent before that release, and every override is recorded. The AI proposes; a qualified person decides and stays accountable for the decision.

What Scorafy deliberately does not do

It is not your system of record and it does not make assessment decisions. It does not train AI models on your data. It does not publish an AI accuracy percentage until one can be measured against human assessors on real reviewed data - the method is public so you can measure agreement on your own assessments.
